Rules & Regulations
These rules form part of the official Club Constitution and apply to all registered members, players, and team officials.
1. Membership and Registration
1.1 Registration is open to all individuals interested in representing a sport offered by the Club.
1.2 Registration is conducted annually and must be renewed each season.
1.3 A valid registration includes:
1.3.1 Completion and submission of the online registration form at https://sllscnsw.com.au/registration
1.3.2 Full payment of all fees prior to the start of the sporting season
1.4 Participation is not permitted until registration and payment are fully completed.
1.5 Refunds are not provided after a player has participated in a match; any refunds are solely at the discretion of the Club Committee.
2. Team Management and Player Selection
2.1 Team Captains, Vice-Captains, and Team Coordinators are appointed at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
2.2 The Club provides a full list of registered players to each Captain and Coordinator before the first game.
2.3 Only fully registered and paid players may be selected for teams.
2.4 Captains and Vice-Captains are responsible for team selection.
2.5 A fair player rotation policy must be applied to ensure inclusive participation across all age divisions and combined/social teams.
2.6 Unregistered individuals may not participate in any Club matches under any circumstances.
2.7 If a selected player is unavailable, the replacement must be chosen from other registered players within the Club.
2.8 Captains must ensure that every matchday player is fully registered and financially compliant.
3. Communication and Notifications
3.1 Team selections must be communicated using email, mobile call or text, or another agreed platform.
3.2 Team Coordinators are responsible for distributing the final selected team list prior to each game.
3.3 Captains and Vice-Captains must ensure all communications are timely and reach every concerned player.
4. Uniforms and Sponsorship
4.1 All registered players shall receive a Club Player Top and Cap.
4.2 It is compulsory to wear the official Club uniform during all matches.
4.3 Players must purchase replacement uniform items from the Club at a nominal fee if lost or damaged.
4.4 Sponsorship banners will be issued to team Captains.
4.4.1 Captains are responsible for the care and safekeeping of banners.
4.4.2 Banners must be displayed at all home games.
4.4.3 Captains must display banners before games and pack them away post-match.
5. Conduct and Dispute Resolution
5.1 Team-level issues should be resolved first by the Captain and Vice-Captain.
5.2 If no resolution is found, the matter must be referred to the Club President and Secretary.
5.3 The Club is committed to resolving all issues fairly and respectfully for all members.
